Marc de Maar, winner of the golden medal in cycling during the Pan American Games 2011 in Guadalajara (Mexico) for Curaçao.

He’s  the GOLD MEDAL WINNER of the Men’s Individual Road Race that took place last October 22, 2011

The Guadalajara Circuit and Route, was where the race took place.

Regional Paralympic Games with a latin spirit: Pan American Games Guadalajara 2011

” XVI Juegos Panamericanos, es el evento multideportivo más grande del Continente Americano, a celebrarse del 13 al 30 de octubre de 2011 en Guadalajara.”

 

This is an Olympic event organized every 4 years. Netherlands Antilles Olympic Committee (NAOC) which is the platform that our national athletes use to be part of before the deceasing of  Netherlands Antilles as country. This last time as NAOC they participated with a total of 11 athletes in six different categories. Shooting (2), Taekwondo (1), Cycling (2), Karate (1), Swimming (2) and Sailing (1).

Chief of the Delegation is Remco Tevreden.
