Earlier this summer Fantasia fans learned that the singer was pregnant and now her camp has revealed that she is expecting a baby boy.

The “Bittersweet” songstress was confined to bed rest in August but plans to host a baby show on October 1 in Charlotte, North Carolina. According to Sister 2 Sister, the event invitations have already been forwarded to guests.

Last month, Fantasia told a crowd in Florida that she was pregnant and “this child that I carry, God has given me this child. And I don’t have to hide it from none of y’all.”

The singer hasn’t confirmed that the child’s father is her on-again off-again boyfriend, Antwuan Cook, who was married when they began dating.

Fantasia has one daughter, 9-year-old Zion Quari Barrino.
