America’s Next Top Model, Cycle 17 (also known as America’s Next Top Model: All-Stars and stylized as America’s Next Top Model ALL ★STARS) is the seventeenth cycle of America’s Next Top Model and the eleventh season to be aired on The CW network. It premiered on September 14, 2011. America’s Next Top Model, Cycle 17 features fourteen returning models from previous seasons.
The winner was 30 year-old Lisa D’Amato from Los Angeles, California, who originally placed 6th in Cycle 5.
The first judging was conducted in front of a live audience. The international destination for this Cycle is the Greek island of Crete.
The promotional song for this cycle is, “You Make Me Feel…” by Cobra Starship Feat. Sabi.
This season has been subtitled “All-Stars,” featuring fourteen returning non-winning contestants representing twelve of the series’ sixteen cycles (Cycles 3, 6, 7 and 8 are unrepresented) for a second chance to win the title. Cycles 5 and 11 are each represented by two contestants. Jade Cole, second runner-up of Cycle 6, was offered (but rejected) the chance to appear in this cycle, claiming her contract was “bogus and one-sided.” The returning contestants where:

- Laura Kirkpatrick
- Allison Harvard
- Isis King
- Sheena Sakai
- Dominique Reighard
- Bianca Golden
- Lisa D’Amato

On the “America’s Next Top Model” All★Stars cycle finale, it came down to Lisa D’Amato, Allison Harvard and Angelea Preston.
But at the final judging, only Allison and Lisa were present.
Allison and Lisa were the final two, with Lisa being declared the winner.
The judges just said that Angelea had been disqualified. But they did not elaborate past that much information.
Some people are saying that Angelea posted “Top Model” spoilers on her Facebook page. Some on Wiki Answers are even saying she said that she won the season, so they re-shot the finale and had Lisa win instead.
We have received an official statement from the CW:
“After production wrapped on the current cycle of America’s Next Top Model, we learned information that made Angelea ineligible and she was subsequently disqualified from the competition. As a result, new scenes were filmed to address this for the audience during the finale.”
Also according to People.com, the rumor is Preston might have bragged about her victory on her Facebook page before the finale, thus breaking the rules of the competition.
During the competition I got a special love for the mystical darling of Allison. I thought she will win, she’s has the poise and humbleness at the same time. Her charm makes her the All-Stars factor, and she takes “speechless” photos.
But after all the controversial news surrounding the finale, I think they made a good choice with Lisa. After-all Angelea lost it for herself.Let’s see what ANTM will bring next season.. G! Check out what Janice has to say about ANTM
