Singer Veanira Reed this 2012 rising star winning the country’s biggest singing competitions, in June she won the title of The Golden Voice, where she won the opportunity to produce her first international single.
The song ‘Hey Boy’ went last Friday premiere during the tenth anniversary of Dolfijn FM where Veanira sang the song live. A day later we experienced “Hey Boy” its radio premiere.
‘Hey Boy’ is the first single of Veanira, the Golden Voice winner of 2012. The song is composed by Jochem Smid and produced by Dan Warner of Top Stop Music. ‘Hey Boy’ is soon available on iTunes.
After Veanira won the final Jochem Smid started immediately composing a track for the singer, who is mainly a soul and gospel singer. That’s why they composed a pop-soul song.
The video clip of “Hey Boy” may be coming soon. By winning the Golden Voice, in June, Veanira except her own single, she was awarded up to twelve ticket-flights of Insel Air.
On the weekend of the finals of The Golden Voice, Veanira also ‘Un kanta pa Korsou’ and was thus almost immediately one of the most popular singers of the island. Although she performs very frequently, she maintains her main passion which is her job as a teacher. Currently she is also busy recording their own Gospel CD.
