The 13-year-old baseball phenom sent a bunch of young men back to the dug out when she pitched a shutout game at the Mid-Atlantic Regional finals, the tabloids reports. Her performance on Sunday clinched the victory for Philadelphia’s Taney Dragons and sent her team to the Little League World series; it’s the first time any team from the city has made it to the big game.
Mo’Ne stunned the crowd and her opponents as she hurled baseballs over the plate, leading the Dragons to slay Delaware’s Newark National team 8-0. In six innings only three players got a hit off of her, and she struck six more boys during the game.
