ULTRA WORLDWIDE is the global brand of the World’s Premier Electronic Music event ULTRA MUSIC FESTIVAL.
Ultra Music Festival (UMF) is an annual outdoor electronic music festival that occurs in March, internationally renowned festival, which has taken place every March since its inception, celebrated its 16th anniversary from March 28-30, 2014 by bringing over 165,000 music enthusiasts to the sold out waterfront event in the heart of the city of Miami, Florida, United States. The festival coincides with the annual Winter Music Conference, also held in Miami.
Ultra Music Festival is currently preparing the release of early bird tickets for 2015. However, it is causing some extra attention after they announced a change to one of the event’s longstanding policies for next year. The past years allowed people of all ages to attend, but the 17th year’s festival raised the bars and will implement an 18+ restriction.
After mounting complaints by festival-goers that there were too many irresponsible teenagers at Ultra Music Festival in recent years, Imposing this age limit would bring Ultra to the same tier as other major EDM festivals such as Electric Daisy Carnival, Electric Zoo, and HARD Summer, although festivals such as TomorrowWorld are even more restrictive with a 21+ age limit.
While Ultra has yet to officially announce the new policy, new fliers distributed reveal the age limit along with a disclaimer stating the following:
“The safety and security of our attendees, artists/performers, and personnel are out utmost priority and concern.”

Each and every new global edition has been founded on the same successful formula that has been perfected over 16 years in Miami, combining the most diverse electronic talent with the most technologically advanced, large scale festival productions in the world.
In 2014, Ultra has continued to push the boundaries, bringing its unparalleled combination of cutting edge production and the world’s best electronic acts back to its previous strongholds and to new frontiers across the globe.
