#Valentine – True Love Soul Ties

WILLEMSTAD, CURAÇAO – On a day like this, surrounded by the candy hearts, chocolate shaped roses, plastic smiles and overdosed commercial love nowadays. You may lose grip on what truly is the essence of commemorating true love, just like Christmas, Easter, Thanksgiving and we can keep on going.

Some may say I’m crazy because, being single made me aware of all this – but for those who know me (most part of my life and career I’ve been always a single guy but never lonely). Every sense of my living I remind myself three basic affirmations, [1] “I am a winner, created to excel.” [2] “I am symbol of love, I share, give and receive the best of love.” and [3] “Whatever I vividly imagine, ardently desire, sincerely believe, and enthusiastically act upon… must inevitably come to pass!”

These where re-affirmed after three heart-breaking breakups in life, if I may count each one as a romantic relationship. Challenges that truly made me wiser on more stuff, as such defining my own purpose in life. My last relationship took another dimension, in which the souls matter played an important role.

And for being Valentine’s day which is surrounded by romance and love, I decided to shine the light on what is more worth in life: our souls.

Wise words of Beyoncé’s lyrics said “perfection is a disease of a nation, are you happy with yourself?”. Do you think if you aged backwards, thinks would be different in reverse? I really doubt it, the only thing is everything became social and more technical, scientists have an answer for every question.

Do you ever wonder what your soul looks like to our Creator?

Have you ever searched for the depth in tying your soul to someone in this lifetime?

Have you stand still once at what sex does more to someone that the eye can see.

Every person you sleep with leaves a part of themselves with you.
Every person you sleep with takes a part of your soul with them, that is why we are left so broken and empty at the end.

Sexually transmitted spiritual burdens are harder to get rid of than diseases. Soul ties are more powerful than you think.

The right partner for you will PRAY for your soul and not PREY on it.

The intimacy in sex makes you feel married, even though you aren’t – the depth of sharing your intimacy. Sex is a spiritual bond because of the connection made during love making.

That’s why we should be careful who and what we allow our soul to be tied to.

Sometimes rejection may be our protection, few can understand when having sex with no intentions, just for having anything is dangerous for our emotional status. It affects our state of mind — a reflection of our own personal sense of worth, and respect for our roots.

Our flesh may try to fail us, but tell it to sit down and hush up – patience brings glory. We should stop putting ourselves in situations where we find ourselves weak, rubbing all up on each other.

We have to recognize that there cannot be relationships unless there is commitment, unless there is loyalty, unless there is love, patience, persistence. Without commitment, you cannot have depth in anything, whether it’s a relationship, a business or a hobby.

To have a caring and committed heart toward someone – a heart so firm in its devotion as to sooner stop beating than neglect the object of its desire despite the person’s state of health, appearance, reputation, finances, troubles, or challenges that, is love. And it is a rare find, but surely not impossible since we all have hope and are still breathing – now currently even taking your time reading my valentine dissertation.

True love asks no question of the heart. It knows with surety.
Value the effort you put forward. Be determined, committed, and involved.

Honor, duty, and commitment, those things are constant and stable. They define who you are.

In a world filled with flaky people, those that honor commitments and do what they say stand-out. That’s why hope and faith is probably all we can cling to.

This is what keeps me going, realizing the strength in the mirror’s reflection. There isn’t nothing wrong in self-love, let a day like this be a reminder to your love and the love that you reflect to others, and the respect of loving that you deserve.

Many of us just want to be loved.
The problem is, we forget to love ourselves.

We cannot expect someone to commit to us if we are not devoted to ourselves.

We cannot hope for someone to support us if we don’t have faith in ourselves.

Be strong, believe in freedom and in our Creator, love yourself, understand your sexuality, have a sense of humor, masturbate, don’t judge people by their religion, color or sexual habits, love life and your family.

“Once you truly know yourself, love is the only option.”

I finish this post with a powerful statement made by the author of Eat, Pray and Love.
